Waycar is a native iPhone and iPad app that lets developers monitor and interact with AI coding agents running on their own Mac or Linux machine. It connects agent terminals over mosh, so sessions survive network changes and phone sleep, falling back to SSH automatically when mosh is unavailable. The app integrates with the herdr plugin, installed on the host machine via a one-line curl command, and supports agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, and OpenCode. No account is required to use it, and on iPad, two windows can hand off control of the same agent with a Take Over Here action.
