REA (Reverse Engineer Anything) is an MCP-based tool that connects AI agents to reverse engineering workflows across native binaries, JavaScript and Electron apps, .NET assemblies, Android APKs, websites, and more. It enables agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Gemini CLI to inspect apps without source code, returning findings alongside their evidence and limitations. Analysis runs entirely locally and can leverage existing Hopper, Ghidra, or IDA installations for native binary inspection. REA also exposes the same capabilities through a command-line interface for direct terminal use. The project is open source under the MIT license and supports a wide range of target formats from EVM bytecode to firmware images.
