Project Genie

Project Genie is an experimental Google DeepMind research prototype that uses Genie 3, a general-purpose AI world model, to generate photorealistic, interactive 3D environments in real time from text or image prompts; you can sketch a world, build a character, and immediately explore a navigable scene that expands around you, simulates physics, and remembers prior interactions. It’s designed for creators, researchers, and prototypers who want to rapidly test game levels, storytelling scenes, robotics or simulation ideas without traditional 3D modeling, and it emphasizes AI-driven on-the-fly world generation and remixing; currently access is limited to Google AI Ultra subscribers in the U.S. for research feedback.
