Osaurus is a free, open-source, native Swift application for Apple Silicon Macs that lets users run local AI models entirely on-device using Ollama, MLX, or LM Studio with no data leaving the machine. It provides a unified memory layer shared across local and cloud models, allowing users to optionally connect ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini when a task requires it. Osaurus supports building autonomous agents with capabilities such as voice control, folder watchers, browser plugins, and parallel job execution. The app is MIT licensed, requires no account or subscription, and is designed to work fully offline with inference running directly on Apple's M-series chips.
