Minicod is an academic data API that queries Semantic Scholar, OpenAlex, and PubMed through a single unified interface. It returns a consistent JSON response schema with DOI and open-access links when provided by the upstream source. The service offers an OpenAI-compatible chat completions endpoint and an MCP server for use with Claude Desktop, Cursor, and other AI agents. It also includes citation graph traversal, journal metadata, and a Skills Marketplace of reusable research-workflow instruction bundles.
