Agent.exe is a tool that enables Claude 3.5 Sonnet to control a local computer through new computer-use APIs. Designed for testing Claude’s capabilities, this tool allows actions to be executed directly on the computer, such as booking tasks or simple commands. Users can monitor the app’s performance and intervene with a "stop" button if the model encounters issues. Initially, a semi-automatic mode was considered to require user confirmation for each action, but due to the slower speed of execution, it was found unnecessary, making Agent.exe an efficient tool for hands-off control testing.
